Steve Newman, CFP®
    Steve was born and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts area.  He graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Politics, after which he entered the financial services world.  Steve has lived in the Orlando area for 10 years after moving from Massachusetts.  He has been working in financial services for over 20 years with various firms.  Steve successfully completed the Certified Financial Planning Program from Florida Institute of Technology and passed the national examination, to earn the right to be called a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. .  In addition to staying up to date with continuing education requirements, Steve has also taught the investment section of the Certified Financial Planning Program. Steve offers securities through Kovack Securities, and is a Registered Investment Advisor through Kovack Advisors, Inc.

When is not spending time with his family, Steve is active in several organizations, including:

• Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association
