How to Use Your Own Gel Nail Polish at Home

  1. Prepare equipment

When doing a pastel nails at home, you have two options. The first is that you can choose to polish the ‘long-wear’ type set. These include colours and top coats that provide fade durability, durability.
But if you want better results, you should order LED lights online. Before you begin, prepare all your tools. You will need the following: nail file, buffer, cuticle pusher, fiber-free pads, alcohol rub, gel base layer, gel color, gel top layer, mini LED light, cuticle oil, purple gel nails and hand cream.

  1. Prepare the nails
To get a clean and durable manicure, preparing nails is key. Shape your purple nails, push back the cuticle and rub gently, then clean your nails with lint and alcohol-free pads and be sure to clean the entire nail thoroughly. It is very important to have a long-lasting manicure.
  2. Use the base coat on one hand then proceed to the next hand
Once your nails are clean and shaped, take the base layer of your gel. It is recommended to finish one hand completely before moving on to the other. The polish gel is sticky until the seminal gel is finished and sticky can allow dust, fibers and hair to stick to it.
  3. Dry the base coat
Once you’ve applied a thin base layer to your nails, turn on your LED light. LED lights harden nail polish and attach it to your natural nails, making them more durable than regular nail polish.
Gel polishes will not dry without LED or UV lighting. Dry each nail, one by one for 10 seconds to lock the product in place so it can’t get into the cuticle. Then, after each nail is polished and cured with a flash, dry each one under the LED light for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Coat the nails with gel nail polish and also top coat
Next, apply two to three layers of gel color and heal each layer for 30 seconds. Then apply a top coat, and heal that layer for 30 seconds. This will make the nail polish completely dry.
  5. Clean and wet
Even when the nail polish is completely dry, it may still have a slightly sticky texture. To make it smoother and give the nails a high shine, clean each nail with fiber-free and alcohol-free pads. Continue with cuticle oil and hand cream.
  6. When removing, do it correctly
You should get about two to three weeks of use from your gel manicure. When you start to see someone lifting or chipped, don’t take or pull the paint. Proper removal of the gel is essential for the health of your natural nails and tearing nail polish can be very damaging. To remove, scrape off the top layer, soak your nails in acetone for 10 to 15 minutes and gently push the gel with your cuticle pusher.
